In my opinion - a good hair management product would remove hair for about 1 month before it would begin to grow back, it would be reasonably priced, relatively easy to use, would work on all hair types without irritation(or cuts), and would require less than 20 minutes of your time.

This product did not meet any of the above criteria(unfortunately) - for me.

Some history - for about the past 5 years I have searched for the ideal solution to my hair problem. I tried "Nair for Men" - disappointed and irritated. I tried regular "Nair" - result was only slightly better. Later I tried "Veet" for women(which I am not), and left it on for about 10 minutes, the results were passable but not perfect. And the results did not last, 1 week later and the hair was growing back. I also tried using an old electric shaver which I no longer used on my face, I had to use the trimmer on it to cut down the hair to shaving size, not an easy task with my long thick dark brown hair. I was not satisfied with the result using the electric shaver. It should be noted that I was using these products for the "lower" region where they should not be used, but I have no need for hairless legs or chest, hair here (mostly) does not bother me(although I believe hair below the neck no longer serves a purpose, other than to become sweaty, smelly, and itchy).

So I decided to try "ballsBALM". The 1st thing I noticed - the small size of the tubes. If I wanted to remove all the hair on my body I would need more than 1 of these(more like 5 or 6). Although all I wanted/needed was to remove the hair around the "groin" and lower back.

After applying a thick layer and waiting more than 10 minutes I tried wiping it off with a towel or "washcloth" or whatever you want to call it. Very little hair actually came off. In the back of my mind I kind of knew this was not going to work, with "Veet" I had to use a special "scraper" to remove the hair(I tried it on my 2nd try). Using a wet sponge more hair came off than with the towel. I re-applied another layer of "Bare Balm" cream and then after waiting for more than 15 minutes and using the "scraper" I had used with "Veet" a significant amount of hair actually came off, although not entirely(the roots of the hair were still left in the skin - like with other similar products). It was not a perfect result, and I did not even bother trying it on my back(I did not want to spend another half hour in the bathroom). To get to this point I believe I used about 40-50% of the tube. In 2 weeks I was back to square 1.

The smell of the product did not bother me(no lasting cucumber smell), but I did not find it to be better when compared to similar store bought products(which are not perfect either).

ill adimt, im half monkey, but thats why i looked to find this type of product. i used it on my back, my chest and my arms, and well... anyway, it didnt seem to work. if you have light amounts of body hair, and just want a clean look, maybe this will work for you. if you have thick body hair, dont expect much!!

The product does work, but I found it left some behind and the stubble was really irritating. I need to use it carefully or find something that removes the hair more completely.
